Birthday Boy!

Whew...what a busy day! Cade was so excited to FINALLY be 4. He's been 'pretending' to be 4 since about last September. Seriously, any time somebody would ask him how old he was he would tell the "four". And when you tried to remind him that he was not 4 yet, he would whisper "but I'm pretending that I'm four (rolling eyes)". Whatever.

First, Nana took him to IHOP for chocolate chip pancakes...his favorite. No pictures but Cade thought it was sooo awesome. They even sang to him at the restaurant and, suprisingly, he wasn't even embarrassed (definetly NOT my son)!

Nana and Papa joined for all of the evening's festivities. We all bowled and had a blast. The only real competitors were Dad and Matt, of course! They smoked us all! It was a great day!
My baby is getting soooo big!
