Before we headed to Midland, the kids finished up wrapping some of their cousins' gifts...they loved being able to do it (mostly) all on their own! Grandma and Grandad have wanted to take the kids to Carlsbad Caverns for a while, so they decided Christmas break would be the perfect time. It was fun to go on a mini road trip to New Mexico for the day!

Instead of the Polar Express, we thought we would try something different this year. We heard the Christmas on the Pecos was a fun boat ride to look at all of the cool light displays along the river. So glad we went...it was awesome!
