So Matt and I took the kids to the drive-in to see Kung Fu Panda this summer and it was awesome! Both kids just sat in their little lawn chairs and watched the entire movie. Which would be why we thought it was another great idea to go see Madagascar 2 with some friends. All I can say is 'what were we thinking?!'
First of all, it was about 30 degrees outside with the wind chill (seriously, it was blowing like 45 mph...brrrr) so we all had to find a seat inside the back of the cars. We all have SUV's but you have NO idea how cramped those things can get. OR maybe it was because there were 6 of us crammed into the smaller of the SUV's (2 of us being 8 months pregnant of course!) It was hilarious...I sure did laugh alot and couldn't even tell you 30 seconds of the movie that we were supposedly 'watching'. Although there are no pictures (it would have required waaaay too much energy) Cade and Lucas were in the back of the Preston's car with plenty of room to lounge. And, the questionably dillusional dads were sitting outside in lawn chairs. The moms were with the crazy 2 year old girls. Hmmmm, convenient how that worked out, huh?

really, it was as uncomfortable as it looks...at least we had fun!! We'll give it another try in the spring time, maybe;-)
